Literature Text

You enter my domain,
Entered my being itself,
And now complain
Of my presence.
I will invade
Even the places I do not desire.
Your pockets of dry security
Will be mine,
As will your vital passages.
I will drive you away,
Far away,
Until you decide
To do battle once more.
Just know what you've done:
You've declared war.
I randomly decided that I wanted to write a very aggressive sounding poem over something as innocent as I could. I chose my pool, specifically when the water gets into my goggles and snorkel, and how no matter what it always seems to get into mine. Would you have guessed it from the poem itself?
